The following Terms and Conditions and Park Rules apply to your stay at Athelle Outback Hideaway.
1. General
Terms & Conditions below are for bookings made directly via the Athelles’ website and payments via payment gateway system through Athelle Outback Hideaway ABN -96 849 858 169. These terms and conditions may be updated from time to time and are subject to change at our complete discretion without further notice to you.

2. Early Check-Out
The property reserves the right to charge an early departure fee in the event a guest departs earlier than the original departure date.
3. Late Check-Out
Late checkouts are available upon request. Please contact Reception to check availability. Additional fees may be applied. A late check-out fee may apply if the property is not vacated prior to the set check-out time of the property.
4. Pay On Booking
Guests are required to pay in full when booking at Athelle. Changes and cancellations are permitted up until 2pm hotel local time within 24 hours prior to arrival. Changes or cancellations within this time will be charged in full. No shows will also be charged in full.
5. Identification
Upon arrival at your selected property Guests must provide valid Federal or State Government issued photographic identification for security purposes. The booking must be under the name of the person checking in. In addition, the Guest must also provide a credit card in the name of the photographic ID.
6. Fees
All credit / debit card payments made to Athelle Outback Hideaway via an onsite payment system will incur a 1.5% non-refundable credit card service fee in Australia. New Zealand onsite payments incur a 2% (VISA, MASTERCARD), 2% (AMEX) or 3.35% (DINERS) non-refundable credit card service fee.
7. Facilities
If any feature/facility is essential for the guest in choosing a particular property, we recommend contacting Athelle prior to booking. Athelle cannot be held liable for omissions or errors whether temporary or permanent of a property’s facilities and services. Photos shown on the website are indicative only and may not specifically represent the exact room allocated to you. Destination images featured on the Athelle Outback Hideaway website may not represent the views offered from our locations. Accommodation facilities listed may not apply to all room types.
8. No-Shows / Failure to Cancel
Each rate booked at a Athelle Outback Hideaway is subject to a Cancellation Policy. Failure to check in on the reserved arrival date will incur a penalty charge as detailed in the Cancellation Policy of the particular type of rate booked. We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations where it appears that a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under other circumstances where it appears that the reservations contain or resulted from a mistake or error. We reserve the right to cancel or amend bookings if they do not adhere to our terms & conditions. If a guest chooses to shorten their stay or check out early a penalty charge will apply, as detailed in the Cancellation Policy associated with the rate booked.
9. Foreign Currency
Conversion into foreign currency is given as an indication and is not binding. Only the currency confirmed during your reservation is confirmed.
10. Relocation
In the event of a situation whereby the Property cannot provide accommodation as previously confirmed for whatever reason, the Property will undertake to relocate guests to a comparable alternate at its absolute discretion with no additional cost to the guest. Should the guest wish to choose accommodation of a higher standard other than offered under this condition, the guest will be required to pay any price difference. Should the guest not wish to accept the relocation, a full refund & booking cancellation may be granted.
11. Disclaimers
As a condition of your use of this Website, you warrant to Athelle Outback Hideaway that you will not use this Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms, conditions, and notices. Although Athelle Outback Hideaway may from time to time monitor or review discussions, chats, postings, transmissions, bulletin boards, and the like on this Website, Athelle Outback Hideaway is under no obligation to do so and assumes no responsibility or liability arising from the content of any such locations nor for any error, defamation, libel, slander, omission, falsehood, obscenity, pornography, profanity, danger, or inaccuracy contained in any information within such locations on the Website. You are prohibited from posting or transmitting any unlawful, threatening, libellous, defamatory, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic, or profane material or any material that could constitute or encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law. Athelle Outback Hideaway will fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing Athelle Outback Hideaway to disclose the identity of anyone posting any such information or materials.
12. Limitation of Liability
Notwithstanding anything contained in these Terms and Conditions to the contrary and to the extent permitted by law, Athelle Outback Hideaway and its affiliates shall not be responsible for indirect damage, damage arising from consequential damage or special circumstances, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profit, loss of use, loss of opportunity, arisen out of the performance or non performance of obligations under this Terms and Conditions.
13. Privacy
When you make a booking with us and when you stay with us, we collect certain personal information from you. By making a booking you consent to your personal information being collected by us and for us to use that information in accordance with the terms of our Privacy Policy. Access to, and correction or deletion of, the personal information we collect from you is dealt with in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Insurance
Athelle Outback Hideaway strongly recommends you purchase Comprehensive Travel Insurance. We suggest that the policy include, but not limited to, the following coverage – loss of payment through cancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage, loss of money and medical expenses.
15. Links to Third Parties
Athelle Outback Hideaway does not control any third party website and is therefore not responsible for the content of any linked website or any link contained in a linked website. Athelle Outback Hideaway provides such links only as a convenience to you and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement, investigation or verification by Athelle Outback Hideaway of the linked website or any information contained in it.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The products and/or services described in and available through the site may not be available in your country. We make no representation that the services or products offered in the site are appropriate or available for use in any particular location. The site is operated from Australia and it is governed by the laws of Australia.
Athelle Park Rules
Dear Guest,
Welcome to Athelle Outback Hideaway. Please be aware you are staying at an operating farm/station. This is our workplace so take caution when walking around, there may be moving trucks, vehicles, tractors and machinery.
As per your guest registration please familiarise yourself with the below;
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT: Check In time is 2.00pm and Check Out time is 10.00am. Early check-in and late departure requests are subject to approval by management.
NO SMOKING – Please observe all NO SMOKING notices. No Smoking in cabins, park buildings or communal areas. Failure to observe the No Smoking rule / notices will result in you incurring a cleaning fee of $250.00. Smokers are permitted to smoke on cabin veranda.
NOISE / BEHAVIOUR: PARK QUIET TIME IS 11pm to 5am daily, excessive noise is not permitted during these hours. For the comfort of all patrons this must be strictly adhered to. Abusive language (including swearing), physical intimidation or assault will not be tolerated at any time and will result in your removal from the park.
VEHICLES: Speed Limit is 10kph for all vehicles, including push bikes and scooters, and must be adhered to at all times. No vehicles to be driven by unlicensed drivers. Vehicles, boats and trailers must be parked in the designated areas and must not be parked on the roadways of the park. Vehicles, Caravans and Boats are only to be washed in the designated wash bays, not at cabins or sites.
BIKES, SCOOTERS, SKATEBOARDS ETC: Bicycles and scooters may be ridden within the park during daylight hours only. They are to be ridden in a manner that does not endanger, or is not likely to endanger, themselves, other property or any other persons. Helmets must be worn at all times. Park management reserve the right to confiscate any bike or scooter that is being used in a prohibited area, or they deem is being used in a manner considered dangerous or a nuisance.
VISITORS: Visitors must register at the office prior to entry into the park. No visitors are permitted to use any of the park’s facilities or to stay overnight unless they have registered as guests and paid the appropriate charges (visitor’s fees) at the office. Guests are responsible for the conduct of their visitors and must ensure that they are aware of, and abide by, the park rules.
PETS (DEFINED AS DOGS AND CATS ONLY): Pets are only permitted in the park with the prior approval of management. Pet owners must ensure they are aware of, and abide by, the park pet policy. You will be asked to remove your pet from the park if your pet becomes aggressive or causes a nuisance (constant barking is one) to other people or pets, or for any breech of the park pet policy. Pets are not permitted within the pool area, amenities, camp kitchen, BBQ areas or laundries. The park pet policy is available from the office upon request.
EMERGENCY ASSEMBLY POINT AND EMERGENCY EXITS: The emergency assembly area and exits are displayed on the site map, in each park building, all cabins and shown on the park map. In case of an emergency an alarm will sound. Please make your way immediately to the assembly area and follow instruction from the park wardens.
CABINS: Upon entry into the cabin please observe and advise us immediately of any breakages or items out of order. Please leave the kitchen as you found it. Wash, dry and return all dishes to their allocated areas. All breakages and damages must be reported to Management prior to your departure. Management reserves the right to charge your credit card for any outstanding charges that apply to your booking. This includes extra cleaning, excess rubbish removal, additional unpaid guests, extended stays, late checkouts, property theft, any repairs or damage to park property. Australian standards state that in the interest of safety, children under the age of 9 years of age should not sleep on top bunks and children should not play on bunk beds.
SITES: Upon entry observe and advise us of any damage to the utility services. Upon exit turn off the water tap, electricity connection. All Black water is to be disposed of at the designated dump point. Place all service connections to your van, vehicle or tent so as not to cause a nuisance to neighbouring sites and management in maintaining the surrounding site area. Park your vehicles, caravan and/or trailer within the site boundaries, as per the parking guide.
SWIMMING POOL: The Pool Area is only available for use by residents, guests and their registered visitors. Children under 14 years of age must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. No one is to permit any child or person who cannot swim to enter the pool enclosure unless they are supervised at all times by a responsible adult. Pool users must not do anything that would endanger any other person and must abide by the ‘pool rules’ displayed within the pool area. Current pool opening times are between 6am – 10pm. Children who are not yet toilet trained must wear swimming nappies whilst in the pool.
AMENITY AND LAUNDRY AREAS: The amenities and laundries are for registered guests and residents only. The washing of pets or pet bedding is strictly prohibited. We ask that children under the age of 8 years be supervised by a responsible adult while using the amenity or laundry facilities. Please be considerate of the next user and always leave the facilities in a clean and tidy condition after use. Clothes should be removed from machines / lines as soon as practical.
BBQ / CAMP KITCHEN & FIRE PIT: The use of the park’s barbeques & camp kitchen areas are permitted between the hours of 5am and 11pm daily. Please leave the area in a clean and tidy condition. Children under the age of 16 years must be under the supervision of a responsible adult.
Please be considerate of other users at all times.
GARBAGE: Place all garbage in the bins provided.
PERMANENT RESIDENTS: Our park has a number of permanent residents. This means the Park is their permanent place of residence. We ask that during your stay you respect our residents, their property and their right to the quiet enjoyment of their home.
Dogs are Welcome at our Park!
At Athelle Outback Hideaway we allow you to treat your pet as a member of the family while staying at our pet friendly accommodation. Please respect our cabins and sites and the policies we have in place so we can keep this privilege ongoing.

What animals do you allow?
Dogs, Cats, Birds, Horses (For other animals please ask at the office)
Are animals allowed to roam free around the property?
No, all pets must remain on a lead at all times and are not allowed to enter farm animal’s paddocks or scare or harm any farm animals. Horses must remain in designated paddocks at all times unless discussed with management.
Is there a limit to how many pets I can bring?
Yes. There is a maximum of four pets allowed on sites, and cabins have a 2 pet maximum, depending on cabin type.
Do you have a size limit on pets?
No, we don’t
How do I let you know I’m bringing a pet?
When making your booking online, please fill out the ‘pets’ section. When making a booking through the office, just let our staff know over the phone.
Are there Ticks in the area?
No, we are in a tick free area. If your dog or cat doesn’t have a tick preventative treatment, we suggest you treat them with one before visiting.
POLICIES
CABINS
- We charge a pre-authorisation bond of $50.00 on a credit or debit card.
Pets are allowed inside of cabins however they are not allowed to be on any furniture.
Additional charges apply if your animal destroys any furniture or puts hair throughout the cabin. A broom is available in all cabins. - Pets must have their own bed to sleep in.
- Pets must not be left by themselves at your cabin.
SITES
- Pets must be restrained at all times.
- Pets must not be left by themselves at your site.
- When tethered/fenced at your site, pets must be kept within 1.25m of the site boundary.
- Pets must not be taken into the amenities, laundry or BBQ area.
GENERAL
- The office must be informed if you or your visitors have a pet.
- It is your responsibility to secure your pet.
- When walking through the park, pets must be on a lead and under control at all times.
- Please keep dogs clear from our permanent residents’ homes and their gardens.
- Owners must pick up after pets using a plastic bag and dispose of the tied bag in the bins provided throughout the park.
- Pets are not allowed within the pool area, camp kitchen, laundry and covered areas.
- No washing of pet bedding in the laundry.
- Pets must be up to date with flea and tick treatments.
- Please respect your neighbours by keeping dog’s barking to a minimum
- Aggressive behaviour by a pet will not be tolerated and result in you losing the privilege of having your pet stay in the park.
